All options come with good glass clarity and quality for the budget-minded shooter.
All of these features in combination with the Vortex warranty make this line the go-to choice for most of Mark and Trevor's rifles!

Best Pistol Optic 2023-2024
The Holosun 507 series stands out for a pistol optic line combining durability, desirable features, and a great price point to make for an optic that is easy to afford and easy to use for its' operators.
Ranging for options that are dot-exclusive, circle and dot selectable, and red or green reticle options for those who prefer different colors, the series has an option for everyone and every gun.
Compared to the pricier options in pistol optics, there is a trade-off in features like extreme durability and shake-awake technology that are offered by Holosun as well in some of their different series. However, the 507 has been the topper for many of the S and S Crews' carry guns and has yet to experience any failures!

Best AR-15/AR-10 Rifle Optic for 2023-2024
Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) is a fancy way of saying "a riflescope that starts at 1x magnification" and these standout as our favorite AR Optics because they offer a great balance of versatility and function for the ranges of most semi-auto rifle setups. On the lower setting, these optics give great forgiveness for eye relief, making target acquisition and transition incredibly easy. Quickly switch over to the higher settings to stretch out your rifle setup.
Sig Sauer's Tango MSR Series provides great value ranging from $400-600 in varying reticles and magnification ranges from 1-6x to 1-10x to match your budget. This setup will give you great performance and glass clarity without burning up your wallet so you can get more ammo to practice!

Best Holographic/Red dot with Magnifier for 2023-2024
It is hard to compete with the Holosun 510c and HM3X Magnifier for the value brought in the price range. The 510c is a premium holographic optic with a 32 MOA circle and 2 MOA Dot that matches well with so many different setups from ARs to pistol caliber carbines (PCCs) to rimfire or even a short range hunting setup!
The HM3x comes with a flip-to-side mount to quickly switch from magnified to bare through your 510c. The eye relief is incredibly forgiving, and the whole setup leaves you with enough room to keep flip-up iron sights to keep you running in the event of an electrical failure!
Both optics also come with Quick-disconnect (QD) mounts to quickly change your setup if you need to. I (Trevor) personally love this option because it allows me to swap the magnifier from setup to setup, so I only need to buy one combo and outfit my other guns with just the 510c!
